To get pomegranate juice, you will have to do some previous work with the fruit, so as to convert its arils in juice itself. The best way of doing this is blending it. Before doing that, you shall cut off the crowned part at the top of the pomegranate, subsequently popping it off. Then, score it to ease its opening and get the seeds that will be blended. A very useful tip for this is to remove the arils under cold water, which will also help you to classify and set apart those that are more discolored, as well as membrane pieces. Once you have done this, and after blending them, it is recommended to strain out the pulp, preferably by pressing it out. After this process, you will finally get your pomegranate juice.
